This clump-forming, mounding perennial grows best in partial shade or planted in a spot that is shaded from the hot, afternoon sun. Although it has flowers in early summer its richly colored leaves are the highlight. They are amber and silver. In milder parts of the country the leaves last throughout winter, adding color to a garden during the dormant season. Water it regularly, deeply once a week while it is settling in, and then less water once established. This is a new color for coral bells. Hardy in USDA Zones 4 - 9.
